why sports diplomacy?
Sport is a tremendous tool and source of soft power internationally, helping build a nation’s attractiveness, influence, and providing an opportunity for diplomatic engagement. Over the past few years, countries around the world have been doubling down on their efforts to capitalise on the full potential that their sports and athletes have.
Projects
U.S. Sports Diplomacy Strategy
We worked on in-depth project on U.S. Sports Diplomacy, published in August 2022 by the University of Southern California's Center on Public Diplomacy. This report provides an assessment of the current US sports diplomacy landscape and a series of recommendations aimed at both government and sport for a potential US Sports Diplomacy Strategy.
